Henri Murphy ("we," "us," or "our") built the BrainSavers app as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
By using BrainSavers, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and birth year range. This information is used to personalize your experience and track your game progress.
Game Data: We collect gameplay data including scores, streaks, XP points, tier progress (Gold, Platinum, Diamond), accuracy rates, and games played. This data is stored to maintain your progress and display your Brain Score.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for the purpose of troubleshooting and improving the app experience.
We do NOT collect:
— Location data
— Contacts or address book information
— Photos, camera, or microphone data
— Health or fitness data
— Financial or payment information (payments are processed by Apple)
— Browsing history or tracking across other apps
We use the information we collect to:
— Provide, maintain, and improve the BrainSavers app
— Save your game progress, scores, and streak data
— Display your Brain Score and tier status
— Send optional notifications about streaks or new game content
— Respond to customer support requests
— Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the app
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We may share anonymized, aggregate data (such as total number of users or average scores) for research or marketing purposes. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.
If we use third-party services (such as Supabase for authentication and data storage, or analytics tools), those providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes of providing their service to us.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. Game progress data is stored locally on your device and may also be synced to our cloud database (Supabase) if you create an account.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics purposes.
You have the right to:
— Access the personal data we hold about you
— Request correction of inaccurate data
— Request deletion of your account and associated data
— Opt out of optional notifications
— Use the app without creating an account (with limited functionality)

BrainSavers is designed for adults ages 40 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
BrainSavers may use the following third-party services:
— Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
— Supabase: For user authentication and cloud data storage
— Anthropic API: For dynamic game content generation (no personal data is shared with this service)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on our website. Your continued use of BrainSavers after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
